Demi : Hi sir! How's it going? Thanks for giving me the chance to do this interview.

Teguh Prasetyo : Hi bro, everything is good as always. Just doing some stuff with my band, and hope we can share it soon.

Demi : So first of all, can you tell me the history about Interfectorment? And why finally you decide to join Digging Up aswel?

Teguh Prasetyo : Interfectorment was formed on late 2012. At the first, Agung invite me to play. That was a first time I meet Dendy and Panji, this project that latter we called Interfectorment. Then we start to making a songs, and record "Cannibalism of Dismembered Entrails" song for the first time, but after that Panji leave due his school activity. Then Bayu come, on 2013 we sign with Deathfans Records and makes our first EP "Diorama Teatrikal Pembantaian". On 2014 Dendy have to quit due his duty to his family, and Endep come to filling the seat. Evans (Ale) was Digging Up bass player before me. Bloodgush on process for making their new album so Ale must leave because he want to focus on that. Agung suggesting me to Dedra, and he invite me to join. For me it's a honour, I really love their songs, they was a nice friends that keep on smiling (go green), so its impossible for me to skip that chance.

Demi : Do you think both band has a similarity in terms of musical style?

Teguh Prasetyo : On my personal reason I don't think so. The musical goal for both of band is different, and the 'atmosphere' when I play was different one to another.

Demi : After Interfect succeded to released it's debut EP, any further plan to make a new album?

Teguh Prasetyo : In fact we was working on that now, hope it will be done soon.

Demi : How is the response you got from metalheads after Diorama Teatrikal Pembantaian is released?

Teguh Prasetyo : A lot of feedback that me and my band get after that released. Never cross in our mind that our EP will get a lot of response, I am quite nervous and get a little shock, hahaha. Personally I very thankful for that moment.

Demi : I really like the cover arwork of the album. Who's the artwork maker?

Teguh Prasetyo : Its Timbul Cahyono (bvllmetalart). We are unnerved from the first time he show us the sketch. He was really turn our mind into an artwork.

Demi : Do you feel satisfied about your involvement in Interfectorment and Digging Up?

Teguh Prasetyo : I will never be satisfied, but still feel grateful. Because the moment you feel satisfied, that moment you will stop, but if you be grateful, you will enjoying the moment and develop further.

Demi : Which band that influences both bands the most in terms of musical style and lyrical?

Teguh Prasetyo : Suffocation, Disgorge, and Cerebral Effusion influenced both of bands. But each member of the band have another influence too. The concept was be in accordance, but the influence and musical execution can be different for each person.

Demi : List your top 5 favorite local and 5 international death metal releases.

Teguh Prasetyo : Local : Dismemberment Torture "Convulsion of Perfect Abomination". Bloodgush "Promo 2015". Gore Infamous "Cadaver in Methodical Overture". Perverted Dexterity "Primitive Scene of Inhumanity". Gerogot "Promo 2014".
International : Suffocation "Effigy of the Forgotten". Necrophagist "Epitaph". Disavowed "Perceptive Deception". Cerebral Effusion "Impulsive Psychopathic Act". Decaying Purity "Malignant Resurrection of the Fallen Souls.
Damn, to much to mention, to little time hahaha

Demi : Do you think that the local death metal scene has been developed so far? And how is your response about it?

Teguh Prasetyo : Its really developed and evolved. New band come up, a lot of gigs from local to international scale was held, and don't forget the album, every month many of new album released. The internet also help educated death metal fans.

Demi : Do you and the other band members have any plan further to play outside the Indonesia?

Teguh Prasetyo : Of course, we want to meet our friends abroad, but it need a lot of time and resource. We must planed this really carefully. We don't want too enforce this, but if we had a chance, we will go.

Demi : What's your hope for the local metal scene?

Teguh Prasetyo : I hope the scene can stand time to time, more challenge will come ahead.
