Demi : Ok, thank you for your time. isz is a webzine that was formed at the initiative of someone from Canada who loves the Indonesian death metal scene. First of all
I want to ask how you was doing and what Dismembered Torture activity lately?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : Alhamdulilah, we're good. Our band is busy today after the release of our first debut EP.
Demi : Can you explain how this band could be formed? And where this band name come from?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : This band was formed after I decided to leave jasad. At that time I had a traffic accident. Because of the accident, I could not play with jasad anymore. So in the end I decided to take a break and when I recovered, I decided to form this band.
Me : In terms of musicals, whether the difference between dismemberment Torture and Jasad?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : I'm not really sure, it all depends on the audience. if there are similarities, it is natural because I've been playing drums with jasad for quite so long. For another instrument, it depends on each member of the band.
Demi : I would like to ask about the making of the album "Convulsion of Perfect Abomination". what your biggest
influence on this album?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : The making of this album is quite long, spending approximately one and a half
years. All of it because each of the band members have another activities with their own bands. But I'm really glad now the album is done. Our music influences is : Deeds of Flesh, Disgorge (USA), and the early Decrepith Birth.
Demi : After the completion of this album. If there are things you want to accomplish after this?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : we've released our promo CD last year and then this album, we just want to keep working after the album was released.
Demi : What kind of lyrical theme are you using for this album?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : Everything related to gore and torture.
Demi : how the response of metalheads about your debut album so far?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : alhamdulilah, pretty good, because we were packing the album as good as possible.
Demi : Do you have plans to make a new album?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : Yes, after this EP we planning to make a full-lenght album.
Demi : whether your album will be made in the near future?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : Making one full-lenght album requires a long time, to make a song will also take a long time either. And it also depends how our mood.
Demi : What's your opinoon about the local metal scene?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : It's really great! Many new bands popping up, with a variety of genres, many of them already released an album aswel.
Demi : What's your opinion about free music downloads?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : I have a satisfaction while listening to the music from the physical format. I can see the cover of the CD, I can also pay attention to the sound quality. But free music download (digital format) - there is nothing special about it.

Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : Passion. This is just a pure hobby. And let the people judge.
Demi : are you satisfied so far with the current Dismemberment Torture achievement?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : I am not satisfied yet, but we were quite happy after our EP was released.
Demi : Last question. What's your hope for the indonesian metal scene in the future?
Papap (Dismemberment Torture) : my hope. Just stay on the path!
