Anal Torture : We doing great! Right now, we are still preparing for recording an EP album .
Demi : Please take us through this project's formation history?
Anal Torture : Anal torture is a project band that formed by Fajar Dian Primary and Yogga Bagus in December 2012. It was the Fajar's previous band Necrogipsy is in a period of inactivity, then he asked to form a new band from the beginning with Yogga Bagos until today.
Demi : After your band's previous promo CD was released last year, when are you planning to make a new album?
Anal Torture : Yes, we are still preparing a new material for the EP, or probably a full-lenght album. In addition to preparing new material we are also waiting for the right time to record the album, because Yogga Bagus also being in an album project in 3 bands aswel. Nithael (Black Death Metal), Fetal Bleeding (Brutal Death Metal), and Dick Destroyer (Goregrind). Fajar also being in a project album with 'Propaganda' (Brutal Death Metal), which will soon be released in the near future because the recording process has been completed. We hope that what we do now could running smoothly, so that all we have been planned could be implemented according to a fixed schedule.
Demi : Why did you choose to play Slamming Brutal Death Metal?
Anal Torture : We choose to play brutal death metal/slamming brutal death because at that time the people who play this genre is still rare. Our target at that time was to make a simple music but still can be accepted easily by local metalheads, and metalheads from other countries too.
Demi : Where did the band's name come from?
Anal Torture : We took it from the Necrotorture EP album entitled Blood Feast. Fajar was the one who suggest us to use this song title as this project name.
Demi : What lyrical theme are you using?
Anal Torture : Our lyric tells about humans bad deeds.
Demi : Last time I saw Anal Torture still have 2 members. Are you planning to add more members?
Anal Torture : We always want a full member. either for live performance as well as to create an effort. But for now, just 2 of us. Although we're doing live performance, we certainly use additional members. if anyone is interested to join us, we do not mind as long as we are still have the same taste.
Demi : What's your band's biggest influence?
Anal Torture : Abominable Putridity, Cephalotripsy, Heinous Killings, Brutal Corpse (Indonesia), Venomed (Indonesia), Cinerary, and many more.
Demi : What's your favorite 2014 releases and 2015 releases?
Anal Torture : For me, the best 2014 releases are Death Vomit- Forging a Legacy, Mephistopeles - Eternal Suffering (EP), Misery Index - The Killing Gods, Obituary - Inked in Blood, Cannibal Corpse - A Skeletal Domain, Carnivored - No Truth Foynd, Diging Up - Disseminated Inapparent Infection, and my favorite 2015 release are Parasitic Ejaculation - Echoes of Depravity, and Cadavoracity - Remnants Of Chaotic Apogee and there's a lot more best 2014-2015 releases that we couldn't mention all of them one by one.
Demi : How's your view on local metalscene?
Anal Torture : as far as 2014 to the present, local metalscene has a great change and growth, ranging from active bands competing to create an album, old and new independent record label are competing to release their best work aswel. Merchanside release and production is so many. The world's biggest metalhead community are located in indonesia (we guess).
Demi : beside Brutal Death Metal, does your band have influences from other genres?
Anal Torture : ya it does, we are listening to other metal subgenres aswel. Such as death metal, grindcore, black metal, heavy metal, etc. every genre certainly has it's advantages and it's own pleasures, not always we listen to death metal and brutal death, there's a lot of inspiration from a variety of genres that we listen.
Demi : How is the metalscene near your living area, Bogor?
Anal Torture : Developed
Demi : Please voice your opinion about these following bands :

Anal Torture : Murtad has successfully made their first album that was released lately, hopefully in the future, they could produce more works, and hopefully they could maintain this great achievement with their new formation.
Demi : What's the most important for you? Produce more merch or records?
Anal Torture : Creating a record is something that is important, but released merch is also important, but there's a limitation for creating a merch. However, if there's anyone who interested to release our merch, of course we will be happy, considering it is very important in helping our financial problems.
Demi : What's your hope for the local metalscene?
Anal Torture : Keep success and grow with a good attitude, love metal music that you like without having to change the mindset of your life. without metalhead, the Indonesian metal bands are not going to live and thrive, long live Indonesian metalheads!!! we love you all!!!
