LABEL : Dismembered Records (2015)

Hailing from Manado, North Celebes. Sabaoth are back with their first full-lenght album entitled "Unholy Divinity". Unlike their previous works, this time they play more groovy. As they calling themself as Grinding Groovy Death Metal, they really meant it, I mean the grooviness is just intense.

To me, this album bringing back the memory of "Systematic Terror Decimation" by Absolute Defiance, the productions also sounds familiar. There's almost no style comparision between that album with Unholy Divinity. The album doesn't contain very original songs, but man..you probably won't belive the intensity that Sabaoth performed in this album, since I personally don't mind about originality, yeap! I enjoy this album a lot.

Starting with the first track entitled "Rotting Religion Disbelive", this track is just a warm up, until finally you're about to face the real insanity that this album was presented. My favorite song in this album probably the ninth track entitled "Pray of The Unholy". The rawness of the production adds such a great feel to it that makes you keep on listening. However, there's a couple parts of the song that I didn't really enjoy and less enjoylabel, but finally it doesn't least too long. The band could create such a great grooviness but brutal at the same time without being too repetitive. And also I rarely heard blastbeat in this album, which is ok to me.

But if you one of those people who trying to find some originality in this album, well you cannot expect it to happen. As long as you enjoy good Groovy Death Metal, this album is definitely for you! This album worth your chance.
