Vasomortus : Hello ISZ. We are planning to launch our debut album.
Demi : Tell me the history of the band's formation?
Vasomortus : First, Aldo and Bara form a new band with a new concept of brutal death metal in 25 August 2008 at Kediri, under the name of Sindrom Bunuh Diri (Suicide Syndrome), started with : Aldo – Guitars, Bara – Drum , Gempur J - Vocal. And in november, the band's name changed to Vasomortus, with current formation : Aldo – Guitars, Bara – Drums, Gempur j Vokal , Zaki – Bass. But in january 2009, Gempur J (Vokal) decided to leave the band because of his job that impossible to avoid them. And then, Vasomortus wants Andre to join as vocalist, then Zaki, Andre, and Bara decided to leave the band because of their busyness, and then Aldo also did the same, because he need to move to Bali to continue his edication. Vasomortus was dead, but Aldo talk to Wildan to continue Vasomortus. In 2013, Vasomortus which has a surprise to all metalheads, are back with their newest formation : Lambang - Vocal , Wildan – Gitar , Soba – Drum.
Demi : Why it was named Vasomortus?
Vasomortus : Because we want a name that can remembered so easly and sounds verry "Death Metal" hehehe
Demi : So far, how many albums that have been released by you guys?
Vasomortus : Alhamdullilah. We have been released 3 demos and 1 album.
Demi : What's your band's biggest influences?
Vasomortus : Deeds Of Flesh, Suffocation, Disgorge (USA), Disavowed.
Demi : Why did you decide to release your album through BRUTE! Production from Thailand?
Vasomortus : Maybe it is our luck, could join with BRUTE! Productions.
Demi : What kind of lyrical theme do you use?
Vasomortus : Gore, violence, hate and torture
Demi : How do you feel about the Indonesian Metal scene lately?
Vasomortus : The current metal scene is developing and metalheads look enthusiastic about the musical works of metal band by means of support and buy physical work such as CD.
Demi : Are you satisfied with your current achievement?
Vasomortus : We were not satisfied with the band's current achievement so far, because there are still many shortcomings in our material and we still need time to learn more bro
Demi : Your debut album got a quite good response by the local and international metal community. How do you feel about that?
Vasomortus : We are abviously verry happy.
Demi : these days, a lot of bands start popping up. And they also have good musical quality. Do you feel rivaled about it?
Vasomortus : No, we really appreciate the new bands and old bands. We also learned a lot from them, as well as sharing knowledge about our music. heheheh
Demi : What's your favorite bands?
Vasomortus : Demented Heart, Siksa Kubur. And many more hehehe
Demi : What's your band's main priority? Releasing more merch or record more songs?
Vasomortus : Recording music is a top priority. Releasing merch can be considered later.
Demi : Do you and other Vasomortus's members have another activity?
Vasomortus : Just college busyness hahahah
Demi : What's your hope for the Indonesian Metalscene in the future?
Vasomortus : Stay compact and continue to support the metal bands by buying the original physical music, not the pirated ones. Because making music is a difficult thing.
